We are proud to present the final two members of the international jury who will evaluate the submissions for this edition of the ET CONTEST. Their appointment completes a highly prestigious panel, capable of combining architectural and landscape vision with the complex technological and scientific requirements of the Einstein Telescope project.
The New Jurors
- Juan Elvira (Spain): Co-founder of the Madrid-based studio Murado & Elvira Arquitectos, he is an internationally renowned architect and a professor at the ETSAM (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid). His research and professional practice focus on the relationship between architecture, environmental dynamics, and contemporary languages, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and spatial innovation.
- Giovanni Bisoffi (Italy – INFN): Technological Director at the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) and Coordinator of TETI (Team for Einstein Telescope in Italy). He boasts extensive experience in the management and development of major research infrastructures, having also held leading roles at the Legnaro National Laboratories. He represents the ideal link between the complex technical-scientific requirements of the research infrastructure and their integration with the design of surface architectures.
Science and Architecture in perfect synergy The addition of Juan Elvira and Giovanni Bisoffi consolidates the multidisciplinary nature of the competition. Alongside Giancarlo Mazzanti, João Nunes, and Sebastián Irarrázaval, the new jurors will ensure that the design visions for Sos Enattos are not merely formal or landscape responses, but true ecosystems capable of hosting the science of the future while respecting the Sardinian territory.
