The completion of the international jury is upcoming.

Great turnout for the ET CONTEST: 28 project proposals submitted for Sos Enattos

We are delighted and proud to announce that the submission phase for the ET CONTEST has officially concluded. A total of 28 project proposals have been submitted through the official digital platform. This is an extraordinary result that demonstrates the vitality, interest, and high value of the response from the scientific and professional community of young researchers and designers in architecture, urban planning, and landscape design. Each proposal represents a fundamental stepping stone towards imagining the future surface identity of the Sos Enattos area, linked to the candidate site for the Einstein Telescope gravitational wave observatory.

Next steps and the completion of the Jury

With the collection of proposals, the organisational phase that precedes the evaluation process has now officially begun. In this regard, we announce that the international jury will soon be completed with two additional members. We are currently waiting to finalise the availability of several highly prestigious and prominent figures from the international scene, whose profiles will enrich an already exceptional evaluation committee. The names of the new jurors will be published and presented very shortly in a dedicated news update on this website.

A sincere thank you goes to all the working groups that accepted this design challenge “beyond underground”, dedicating time, creativity, and expertise to the future of the region and scientific research.
